First off, I emailed the author very early on in the book. Liek a madwoman, I was concerned Ben didn't know the sour cream and onion pringles weren't vegan. I just read the words wrong, and Ben did know and didn't eat them.

Was this book weird? Yes. An apocalyptic story about a severly obese man and his dog Brown, how much weirder can it get? Well, quite a bit. 

Were some parts unbelievable or far fetched? Sure. We do often see wild things happen in books and movies in dystopian times.

Also when Ben was chatting with his doctor about being full and nauseated after just a few bites of food I said me too Ben. I have gastroparesis. Welp, the doctor thought Ben may have had it as well. Is this relevant? No. Just a fact about me. 

Overall I would reccomend and I am starting on the second book now.
