This was absolutely the most hysterical story I’ve read (probably ever). I literally laughed out loud the entire time thanks to the witty banter and snark. Though this was completely hilarious, it was also underpinned by the beautifully steady and calm love that these two embody.
Gabe and Dylan have found themselves cycling through every wedding planner in the area, they seem to attract the wildly eccentric, in trying to get to the alter. This is becoming the longest engagement ever. It seems that maybe they are destined to remain engaged forever.
Through it all, we are reminded of how well they fit, how perfectly imperfect their love for one another is, and how important it is that they have a safe haven with each other. They are magical together. Gabe especially is an acquired taste, but damn if I don’t want to be friends with him.
I repeat I adored this story, and it will forever be the book I read when I need a pick-me-up.
Also, if there’s a petition for Joe to get a story I will gladly create a hundred fake aliases to stack the deck!
