Children will ask questions. They want to know about their family in relation to other families. They want to be sure that what they are is "normal" and they want to know why they might be a different color than either parent.

In this colorful picture book, the little girl relates how everyone is different, the way that flowers are different, and that is ok, because the world would be a dull place if everything were just gray.

The illustraions of this book are as bright and colorful as flowers.



It is wonderful that this book explains, in very simple terms, what differences there are in people, but how that is fine, and beautiful
