Chef's Kiss by Cassie Mint
4.0
Faith has had a crush on her neighbor Andre for four years. Wanting some advice, she decides to write to Dear Hattie because, at this point, she feels like this crush is one-sided.
Her brother is leaving for three months, so they decide to have a night out at the local bar, and Andre shows up. Needing to get away from Andre, she excuses herself to the restroom, and when she comes back, she finds out that her brother is reading her Dear Hattie post out loud to the whole bar, including Andre. She is so embarrassed and tries to tell her brother to stop, but he can't hear her over the noise in the bar. He gets to one part of the letter and realizes that it's Faith's post, and he feels horrible. Humiliated, she storms out of the bar.
