Feehan has done an interesting job with this one. It is technically the first book in the series, though there are characters from her other series that are also in this book. It is a great start and it will be interesting to see where she goes with this series.

Personally, I thought this book was a nice introduction to a new series. It has made me anxious for the next installments. At times, this book was funny, heartbreaking, annoying, fun, action-y, and sexy; it was the whole rainbow of emotions, which is something I am always looking for.

I have read reviews where readers are complaining about a particular scene, but I would not let this define the whole book. While I was not happy about what happened, I understand it was a pivotal point in the book that influenced a lot of what happened next.
