Sundial by Catriona Ward

5.0

Rob wants a normal life, but when her daughter Callie starts acting strange, Rob is reminded a little too much of the darkness surrounding the family she grew up in. Rob takes Callie back to her childhood home, Sundial, in hopes of saving her daughter. But Callie, as she begins to learn the secrets of her mother's past, becomes afraid that she won't make it out of Sundial alive.

Wow. Another incredible story by Catriona Ward that has left me speechless. I gave The Last House on Needless Street 5 stars, but this one was somehow even better. This was an absolute perfect read for me; it was horrifying, tense, ambiguous, and a definite nail-biter from start to finish. I'll be recommending this one a lot from now on 📚
