What an action-packed and truly satisfying ending to an amazing series. In the Light within we get to know more about the umbraphages and lumenmotes, as well as Julien's and Cinn's past.
There is such a sweet atmosphere between Cinn and Julien, but if it were me I would have ****** more than once. Julien makes choices for the right reasons, but most of his choices are really not that smart.
The plot in Shadows beyond did feel a bit stronger than in this second book, but the romance shines in this one. The world-building and character development is great.
All in all this was a really nice read, full of action, romance, friendship, difficult choices and heartfelt moments.
