Obviously I should rate this 1 star because it is a standalone and I won't be getting any more of this 🙄
Look I'm a magic, wings, tentacles kinda girl... But this? Didn't miss those things for a second. Didn't even notice it wasn't there until well halfway tbh. I was in this world, I was among these people and I was confused and scared every step of the way in the best way possible.
Every time I thought haha so this is what's up! ... Guess what, it wasn't what was up.
My notebook is full of funny conversations/banter between a massive list of one question after another with a lot of who, how, why, what, huh involved. 🫠
Sending my theories to Nicole and getting evil laughter in return only added to my torment. 🥲
She asked herself whether she was evil or just an author. She's both. Authors are often evil people who are smart enough not to be evil irl and avoid going to prison by just writing about it. And this is certainly true for Nicole. 😗
I was completely invested in these characters and I'll miss them dearly. I absolutely loved being on the edge of my seat as much as I have during this journey. 🫡🤍
