So awesome!!!!! What a page-turner. It’s been some time since I read a fast-paced thriller, and this really did it for me! An entire story in a hijacked plane.

A plane is hijacked and Bill, the captain, is threatened to make a choice. Whether to crash the plane, or to kill his family. The terrorist has kidnaped his wife and children and has put on suicide vests. If Bill chooses not to crash the plane, his family dies.

I have read that some people found the book dull and predictable, but I would have to say that that was not my experience! Although some elements were indeed cliche- heroic pilot, capable flight attendants, poc terrorists, chaos in the control tower, story set in the USA…. I found the story-telling to be gripping, from the detailed descriptions of setting, action, and emotions. How the story unfolded was also unique - finding out who the terrorist on the plane was, how the flight crew handled the gas attacks, how things were resolved. I really did enjoy the read very much, it felt like I was watching a movie in my head!
