I AM A PUDDLE OF TEARS GOOD BYE 😭

this series was so so wonderful I’m sincerely unwell at the fact that it’s over but I enjoyed every single moment of it 😭❤️

what can I say about this series that hasn’t already been said? it’s equal parts drama, high fantasy, romance, traumatic war stories, action adventure … and the characters reflect every single one of these genres and more 🥹

when we last left our favorite heroes for terrasan, things were not going well, and a lot of this book doesn’t go their way - but I think that’s why I loved the journey so much!! because life isn’t easy and I think I would’ve been let down if the end of this long story was wrapped up too easily

my heart is literally still pounding as I’m writing this review because I just love all of these characters so much okay

the character development that SJM had over every single character was amazing 🥹 seeing aelin, chaol and dorian finally finish their journey together since the very first book made me tear up A LOT

speaking of tears, there were SO MANY OF THEM! it started when ✨ that extremely rude event ✨ happened around page 720 and I basically cried the rest of the way through - both from sadness and utter happiness for my babies

I’m so happy I went on this journey with aelin, rowan, chaol, dorian, manon, lysandra, aedion, fenrys, gavriel, lorcan, elide, yrene, aesterin and the thirteen, nesyrn, borte, sartaq, hasar, ansel and literally every other precious bean I’m missing 🥹🥹🥹

reading this series is a BIG time commitment, but it’s worth it my goodness so much love for these characters

I guess it’s time for me to reread now lol
