The Not So Secret Emails Of Coco Pinchard by Robert Bryndza
5.0
Whenever author Robert Bryndza pops up on my radar, it’s regarding his very interesting crime-thriller novels. I always wished that one day I’ll get my hands on his novels. Then an opportunity comes knocking my door. A blog tour of the same author’s book! But here’s the twist. It’s a ROMANTIC COMEDY! This news was a shock and pleasure at the same time. Shock because we very rarely see authors jump genres. Pleasure because I’m absolutely loving this jump. And since I’m a writer myself I, too, don’t want to restrict myself to one genre. And I’m glad I took up this opportunity.
The Not So Secret Emails of Coco Pinchard was a hilarious roller coaster ride! So much happens in Coco’s life. Nothing seems normal in her life, nor does she get a chance to breathe before another twist in the story arrives. And though I was laughing in all the comedy scenes, I was also feeling empathy as I could understand how it might feel to be in such a position. The book was an epistolary novel, with emails! That was a surprise for me and it was a major plus point of the novel. This book is quite a read, with 302 pages, but since it was written in email format it made it a quick and breezy read. I simply couldn’t stop myself from reading, and even before I knew it, I ended up finishing the book. The story completely hooked me and made me feel like I’m watching a movie. It was a pleasure reading this book and I’m looking forward to read more Bryndza books, both romantic comedy and crime thriller.
