The Good Left Undone by Adriana Trigiani

5.0

I love learning, and because of that love, I enjoy historical fiction so much. In this book we follow the Cabrelli family from both Domenica, and Matelda’s perspectives. I honestly didn’t really ever pay attention to history in school, so this book taught me a lot about World War II. WWII books hit home for me because my grandfather was a POW, however I never branched out to learning about the entire war, just his portion. This book highlighted Italy’s involvement in the war, which was quite fascinating. I read many articles in response to what I learned in this book.

I cried when this book ended. It was just so good. I gave this book 5/5 stars and I’m still thinking about it.
