If Only In Our Dreams by Fae Quin

These books are just perfect, every single one of them. They're such warm holiday reads, full of emotion and love. Ben and his twins were the side characters I was most excited to get a book about, and this book was everything I hoped for and more. I didn't know what to expect with Robin, really, because he was such a small part of the last book, but I loved him to pieces. I loved how he brought out Ben's soft side immediately, and how Ben was smitten with him right off the bat. He treated Robin so gently, making sure he didn't scare him off, but he also exerted a little bit of power and a firm hand with him in making him take better care of himself. Robin's internal struggle throughout this book was pretty heartbreaking at times, but as he learned to trust Ben and fell more in love with the twins, he was able to heal some of his inner wounds enough to realize how much he wanted to be a part of their lives, and I loved the ending of the story. It was the perfect way for Robin to say goodbye to the life that made him miserable and open the door to what he knew would be a life of happiness and satisfaction.
