This was a dnf for me from the first page. The whole page is one sentence, I skimmed the other pages for the writing style and the writing does not get more concise. It looks like most of the sentences have a  long-winded structure, a way of saying too much and nothing at the same time. 

Disappointing because it sounded like a book that I would have liked based on the setting and plot.
