Érase una vez la taberna Swan by Diane Setterfield

2.0

I enjoyed the writing, and how it's all connected to the tavern and the river. I also loved the way it is a story about telling stories. However, the plot didn't grab me, there were too many characters introduced for a very long time, and the story itself lost me at some point. In general, I liked the Armstrongs' and Rita's storylines. However, there were two things I really disliked about them:
- The fact that Robin was evil from birth because his birth father was also evil
- Rita just shrugging and getting over her fear of birth just cause
In general, I wouldn't recommend it because what I liked the most were the style and tone.
