Lucifer, Book Four by Marc Hempel, Peter Gross, Ryan Kelly, Mike Carey, P. Craig Russell, Ron Wimberly
4.0
Maybe a 4.5, but this is definitely the weakest volume so far. The major plot, especially the "Wolf Under the Tree" arc, feels perfunctory, nothing more than set-up for what I assume will be a barnstorming final run.
That being said, some of the smaller plot lines and stand-alone episodes are among the series' best. In particular the interweaved "Stitchglass Slide" and "Wire, Briar, Limber Lock", and the wonderfully inventive"Yahweh Dance".
