Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
5.0
Ok first off: this was so so so so cuteeee!
Also: I saw the movie first but it was a long while ago, but I do vaguely remember the details, and I think the book was way better.
Anyways, let’s talk about Simon! Simon was the perfect main character. He definitely had already found a lot of himself but there was also a big part of him that needed growing into, and his personality really shows that. He was sweet, a smidge dumb, funny, and a little bit nervous about things - honestly such a fun character to read about. I also love how the author crafts a unique relationship with most of the other main characters in this book. (Example: his relationship with Abby vs Nick/Leah)
This book was full of witty humor, sarcasm, friendship, and sweet romance, would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a light and quick read!
