KICKING MY LIL FEET
i loved this book so so much! it was so cute and the character dev was done so well cause one minute i hated abbie then all of a sudden i realised i loved heralso good on her for setting those boundaries with charlie!! what a biphobic prick
as an audhd girli i LOVED the neurodivergent repso glad abbie got diagnosed with adhd bc the whole time i was screaming BABES YOU GOT ADHD
also cannot forget about margo’s commie brother I LOVE HIM SO SO MUCH. honestly margo’s family is goals. and THE DOGS!! also the bestie with the horseys!!!
this was such a fun sapphics YA romcom that dealt with biphobia, inter-queer prejudice, & parental neglect really well.
also really liked abbie’s sex ed bit (although her “queer aesthetic lesson” was very lacking but she was lowkey still biased atp i think?) (also high femme & butch aren’t just aesthetics like masc or fem)
it was defo on the spicier side of a YA book so defo something to keep in mind if you don’t like that
