March: Book One by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin
5.0
A strong first volume to John Lewis' trilogy graphic memoir about the Civil Rights movement. It felt right to read this on MLK Day, even more so because it gave me such a better sense of how organized the movement was and how incredible this movement was in its commitment to non-violence and peaceful, sustained, everyday protest. Gave me a lot to think about as we enter this era of resistance.
