Meh.

Honestly, I forgot most of what happened in this book while listening to it. No, I wasn't really distracted by anything that could be more fun - unless you like cleaning? I just feel like nothing really happened in this book and when it did.. I just ended up disappointed a bit. Which is completely weird because I was excited to dive into this for the whole adventure but then it ended up being meh.

Open Sea is about Len and Piers. They are childhood friends that eventually grow to lovers. Of course there are some bumps in the road for these two. For example, her parents being killed and how his parents took her in. Then there's the whole war and how Piers goes off on his own adventure to be in the war. Ugh the war, I just couldn't take it anymore or the travelling on the boat in the wide open sea. It was soooooo boring and that's probably why I feel like I blacked out in this book.

Overall, I'm happy that it's over. I liked the ending but I wished that's what this whole entire book was about.
