I loved this book so much. It obviously didn’t have quite the same type of suspense as part one but the when will she forgive and what will they do to earn it was just as good. This is one of those rare occasions where I was so wrapped up in the story that the romance was just a really really nice bonus. Which was the case for part one and Havoc for me and I adore that about Mackey’s writing. I love that immersive feeling so much. By the end Drake was still my favorite but Ebony (as I suspected) was definitely next. The whole gold pack omegas and rouge alphas is something that I hope getting expanded on in coming works because the whole commentary of that during a certain part was so interesting and in the hospital. Like I said I was very captivated by the plot and the world building in this duet. Anyway Vex is truly one of my favorite FMCs the pack dynamic becoming more cohesive was beautiful to read and so well done. And I just enjoyed this duet so so much! All hail the OVA for introducing me to Maria Mackey!!
