An Endless Memory by Marie Johnston

4.0

I love the single mom trope and add in a marriage of convenience because of inheritance stipulations then count me in!

Lily is a single mom after getting divorced from her cheating ex. She ends up in the town where her grandmother has left her a house and land but what Lily least expected was for that house to come with terms & stipulations. During a work bbq her aunt shows up to see if she has come up with a solution for the inheritance terms she blurts out that she is marrying Eliot. Luckily for Lily Eliot goes along with her.

Eliot will do anything to go above and beyond for this he loves and cares about but never wants puts himself first due to the words he hears in his head from his mother. But when he hears his name said by Lily at a bbq he doesn’t hesitate to step in and help her keep a roof over her and her children’s head.

Lily and Eliot met in the most chaotic, funny and cute way. Let’s say Eliot got an eye full of the mom and Lily had her hands full with a rambunctious pup! These two had chemistry from the moment they met. I loved seeing Eliot and his interactions with Lily and her children. It was so wholesome watching this man help out Lily and work as a team. But of course not everything can be perfect and Eliot always has his mother’s voice in his head. I loved Lilys strength when it came to standing up for herself with what she wanted/deserved from a partner. I loved how that lit a fire on under Eliot’s ass to finally allow him to put himself first with what he wanted and that was to be in Lily’s life with her children.

If you are looking for a super cute single mom read with very large families this is the book for you.
