I don't need books like this. I already worry everyone is a murderer, that I'm being followed by strange men, that I'm losing my mind and that at any moment a dark secret will be revealed and it will turn out my parents aren't my real parents--but rather my kidnappers! When a server brings me my food I sometimes startle so violently we don't even share a laugh about it, they just feel genuinely sorry for me.

Anyway, this was a little better than "The Maidens". 3.25 stars.
