This is such an eerie, darkly comic treat of a novel that does a brilliant job of showcasing a lot of the ridiculous aspects of late-stage capitalism that we've grown used to. The scenes where they're living in the mall; as well as the parallels about survival at work vs. during the apocalypse, were especially memorable.
