I think loving three Sarah Gailey books is enough to say that they're one of my favorite authors. Their work is so smart, diverse, funny, and intense. I generally don't feel drawn to Westerns, and short fiction usually isn't my thing (I say as I read literally everything I can get my hands on), but I felt like the novella format was perfect for this story. Although I would not say no to a Cye and Esther novel!!!!!!!!!!!!! My new life motto: Fight the State. Be a Librarian.
