Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami

5.0

i can't begin how to describe this unbelievable world of a story. I've never read something like this before. it's a whole new universe for me. like a path of forest that has never been traversed on for so long, footsteps that were never impressed by a foot, clouds that u thought u have touched when the world was still simple and uncomplicated. yet it feels so familiar, like a feeling whenever I gaze to an image of woods or just a group of trees or a slight caress of curtain swayed by a breeze in the morning. there are certain events in this book that had made me stressed and I can't help but to think it over and over. these events are something that I can't understand, or which I just neglect to fully internalize. this is a brand new world, something I never imagined that I will journeyed on, a place I never planned to travel. yet while I'm reading, i've developed a fond attachment to this book that i know will never fade away. like the kind of fascination saeki have on the painting. it's an unfamiliar world with unfamiliar road that I didn't know how to find. and yet her I am, enclosed in the beautiful covers of kafka on the shore. I might stumble upon hundreds of books that will caught my attention, I am certain that this book will forever be my home I will always come back to.
