Nobody Will Tell You This But Me: A True (as Told to Me) Story by Bess Kalb

4.0

Picked this as a follow-up read to last book group read. I’ve already forgotten the title. This was much better. Also short (which we were looking for) and about a parent/grandparent.

Really covered four generations of stories, Bobbie’s mother, daughter and granddaughter (and mainly Bobbie herself). Really strong character and obviously a huge presence in her granddaughter’s life. Her voice is really clear (partly because the author kept so many voicemails) and almost clearer in the section that covers the time after her death.
