look at me reading another non fantasy book!! this book!!!!!!! i loved getting to know these characters on such a deep level. as an autistic sapphic i found myself relating so much to both of the characters, but mainly ari. the way he always feels so different from everyone else and the terrifying clarity of finally figuring out why was beautifully written. the only negative i can say is that since this is entirely character driven, at times i found myself waiting for something huge to happen. however the ending was amazing and the last line made me tear up. i cant wait for the second one to see their relationship grow.
