This was so much better than I expected!! Adrian’s long held anger at Marcus & the unresolved closure between them turned out to not last too long thankfully. It’s interesting how we learn about how & when they marry but we the reader don’t get the details 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 anyway, this picks up during the events of book 1 (read in listed order) & I absolutely love it when an author does this. These two definitely deserved & earned their happily ever beginning. We don’t hear from Marcus’s son Trent much but it’s understandable bc he lives with mom 1/2 of the time. Really enjoying this series so far! Listened via Hoopla Anythink.
