Update: thoughts have been collected. This was so sad and powerful. I haven't stopped thinking about it yet. The writing was easy to absorb and just as Sophie Mackintosh in the afterward says 'the prose is cool water'. If you like books that question what it means to be human, read this one. Honestly think it could/should be taught in schools (alongside The Hunger Games
