I read pages 0-40 on 9/8. I read the rest of the book in one sitting on 9/11. This book was insane. Sayaka Murata is a really incredible author. I have seen this book recommended time and time again, but I was not prepared for this at all. I think I would rate this 5 stars, if not for some of the… topics. Murata writes with such elegance that you can picture every little detail of Akishina, which I really appreciate.
