Going into this book I knew it would be very similar to Hopeless because it’s the same plot just from another characters point of view. You do learn a few new things and of course everything Dean was thinking along the way as opposed to Sky, however, it’s essentially the same book. Since I just read Hopeless a couple months ago I actually would have preferred to wait longer between reading these two just because they are so similar, and even though I do remember the details of Hopeless it’s not necessary to understand. However I would not read this without reading Hopeless at all because then some of the stuff might seem like they just pass over way too quickly, because it’s explained more in Hopeless.
