ok i just read all six books in like a week and i forgot how much i loved them when i was younger and i had nver read the last one before. even tho u can tell it was written for a younger audience, the story was still really good. it would take me hours to write about everything that happened but i love the way he gave each fairytale character a story beyond what we already know and weaved their lives together. i think the second and the fourth one were my favorites and even
tho i wish there had been more alex/arthur scenes, the ending left their relationship with a hopeful future. the only thing i didnt like about the ending was the idea of conner not telling his children about the land of stories. its cute that his granddaughter was like a reincarnation of alex and discovered it the same way she did, but it seemed ooc for him.
overall, i loved them and im so glad i reread them because i hadnt read all of them before and i never got that closure and i had forgotten about a lot of things that happened. also last thing im glad she found arthur bc i never really liked rook he was kind of boring lol
