I felt the beginning was a bit slow, loved the middle, and was disappointed by the ending.

This was super cute, made me laugh out loud often, and was overall just a fun read but I didn’t really care for the little detour the plot took towards the end, I found the spice scenes straight up disgusting — though I skipped them as much as I could — and felt that they kind of killed the romance for me (I just couldn’t see the characters the same way after), and I thought the epilogue was extremely unsatisfying. 3.25 stars.
