What can I say? I Love Sookie Stackhouse Novels! Deadlocked was not my favorite of the series, but it was pretty much everything I expected and had everything that made me love the series to begin with :] As always, its told from Sookies perspective and involves a great number of side characters with more developing story lines of these side characters.  Charlaine Harris has always had a great writing story that keeps the story moving along while never forgetting to include our favorite side characters.

Deadlocked mainly deals with a half-were girl Kym who is believed to be murdered Eric by the police, but Sookie and her vampire friends are trying to figure out the motive of who sent Kym to Eric's party. Of course the plot is much more complicated, but I didn't want to give too much away :P

The only thing that bothered me about Deadlocked was the storyline with Eric and Sookie. I wanted more of them time. Deadlocked goes through a rough patch with Eric and Sookie, which is fine , but of course on the sole fact that I love them being a couple I'm always going to want more of them!

Sad to say the 13th and FINAL Sookie Stackhouse novel comes out next year in may :[ Sad times!
