Anubis by Adrienne Wilder

5.0

Phenomenal!

If I thought NoX was good, Anubis is fantastic! Adrienne does an amazing job at manipulating my emotions while I'm reading and I hate/love it! That takes an excellent author to do that. Luca ans Nox are perfection once again, and I love the incorporation of the Anubis to their thruple and Luca's pivotal assistance with that. I am glad that Reese Dante is back in this book but honestly his personality bugged me so much. His constant questioning, while pertinent to the storyline, in some parts was excessive and I wanted to smack him. Jonathan was a great and very 'convenient' addition, and the push-pull from them was frustrating but honorable on Jonathan's part. Isaiah is misguided and stubborn, and all his chapters made me want to scream. Specifically the chapter where everything comes to a head between him and Nox and Luca, I felt like I wanted to throw up. But again, as stated previously, Adrienne does a great job of harnessing emotions in this way. There's alot of room for character growth in the next book and I'm very excited for the next installment! Also, I LOVE me some primal play ; )
