This was legitimately scary — I found myself wondering WTF am I reading and HOLY SHIT THATS HORRIFYING. It was a mystery, it was gory, it was gross, and I found myself thinking about it when I wasn’t reading it, especially as things started to get revealed as what was happening. I guessed some of it with the hints the author provided but I still kept getting shocked by what I was reading
