Man, this book is beautiful. It’s a refreshing take on the American Gothic that focuses on the true difference between good and evil, human desire and its malevolence, and the reality of love and death. This book is a must-read for anyone who loves Stephen King of Clive Barker novels; it richly informs the work of these later writers.
