I am an absolute sucker for characters slowly coming to terms with their feelings for each other, and this book takes the cake! The relationships in this story, both platonic and romantic, had me simultaneously smiling and crying so hard. Ethan will forever be on my list of characters I need to protect because all he wanted was to be loved and have a sense of belonging. What hurt me the most is that he NEVER found that until he met Blue 🥺. Blue's instant infatuation with Ethan was absolutely adorable and so carefree that it worked perfectly for them, making every single one of their interactions even sweeter! Plus, the absolute pure comfort these two characters brought each other can only be described as magical.
