Lies We Sing to the Sea by Sarah Underwood

So, I found this book in an Ollies-to be fair there were a lot of good books there that day-I will say that I did like the story, on its own. It didn’t need to be labeled as anything other than inspired by Greek Mythology, and after seeing all of the controversy surrounding an interview from the author, I am revisiting The Odyssey.
The story, without any controversy, would have been a 4⭐️ for me, but I don’t want to give a rating when I can’t remember The Odyssey, since it is supposed to be a retelling or sequel as the author stated. And I will say, the ending was just tragic.
