A Killer Harvest by Paul Cleave

4.0

Joshua is raised by his uncle and aunt. His uncle, a police officer, is killed on duty. It was his foster fathers wish, that Joshua gets his eyes. The transplantation is a success, Joshua can see. But he also has new memories and dreams, about his uncles death. How can he know what happend, when he wasn’t there? And if cellular memory really is a thing, how come he can see both the man who pushed his uncle, but also how his uncle falls down the building, just like the killer would have seen it?

With those visions Joshua tries to help solve the murder of his uncle and even some other cases. At the same time he learns that his uncle and his partner were involved in something not quite legal.

We all know the feeling, when in our opinion something is really disgusting, but we still can’t look away. While reading this book, I had that same feeling. It’s gross and creepy, but very exciting and captivating.
