This book made me SO happy. I couldn’t stop smiling – and I even occasionally laughed out loud, which is rare for me while reading.

This romance novel contains a bit of everything: long lost friendships, enemies to (fake)lovers, nerdiness, “coolness”, becoming comfortable with who you are, learning new perspectives to old experiences, etc. There is so much packed into this short novel and I just never wanted it to end.

Beyond that, Desai manages to beautifully weave together pieces of her story from the beginning into the middle and even through to the very last line. Lately I’ve been disappointed with the last lines of a few of the books I’ve read – but this one had me hugging the book afterward. I loved it. All around – I just loved the entire book.
