Power Born of Dreams: My Story is Palestine by Mohammad Sabaaneh

challenging dark emotional informative reflective sad

5.0

This is heartbreaking, and to see how much more trauma and genocide the Palestinian people have been put through since this book has been published is agonizing. So many heartbreaking moments captured by stark black and white linocut art, but the page that stuck with me the most is when he said the prisoners would be moved frequently from cell to cell without warning, so that they felt like refugees even as captives, never allowed any kind of rest.
