At the start of this book I was a little confused and I really wanted to like this book so I wasn’t sure if I was actually enjoying it or not. I think once I began to really process the story and the characters it became a lot more interesting and i ended up really liking it. The format the author wrote this book in was very interesting and creative, and it really made the characters feel real, and it was so easy to sympathize with them! The plot was also amazing, and I totally did not expect everything that happened in part 2. I also really liked all the aspects of female pilots, the role of females in WWII and the friendship aspects in this novel. I think it was written really well, and it felt like a retelling of something real with a touch more drama. Overall it was a lovely book, and a really good historical fiction novel!
