The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

5.0

Wow wow wow!!! I went into The Inheritance Games with high expectations, and it surely did not disappoint.
The cover is absolutely stunning, like I just had to say that (and the sequel looks so fucking good!!)
Also, the rating is 4'5 but it deserved the 5 star rating that's shown, rather than just putting it at 4.

I'm not going to go too much into it, because it is a mystery book so I'm going to try and not spoil anything for you people reading my review (do you exist?).
The Hawthorn brothers are so intriguing and apparently incredibly attractive, so yum.
My favorites were obviously Grayson and Jameson, because of the strong sexual tension between them and Avery, but also because they're hella interesting.
Xander surprised me at the end though, where it was revealed that his personal job was bringing the three back together whenever they were about to break apart.

The reveal behind the reason why Tobias Hawthorn chose Avery was very underwhelming and disappointing, making this a 4'5 book for me, rather than a full 5 stars read.
I loved the atmosphere and the vibe of Hawthorn House, such good stuff.. Like this entire book could become a book and I'd be super happy about it.

Really, really looking forward to the sequel after that BOMB that was revealed at the end. Like it was such a good cliffhanger because it wasn't huge enough to irritate me about waiting for the sequel, nor was it boring and underwhelming enough, thus killing my excitement for the sequel.
The cliffhanger was just the right amount to keep me intrigued until the next book comes out.
Buy this!!
