I'm not huge on historical fiction but Turton throws accuracy out the window in the best way and makes it so much more fun and enjoyable. The twists and conspiracies in this book had me gasping to myself and noisily out loud to my friends and family. I am mad at the ending but that's just because the characters did something I wouldn't have done. I really really enjoyed this book.
