My favorite in the series so far. This book has a touch more storytelling to it that isn’t directed solely by spice. I also really enjoyed the “grumpy x sunshine” character dynamic. But my favorite part is that in this book, the characters choose to be together and love each other even without having resonance. In the other books, the resonance drives the relationship and forces them together. In this one, the couple comes together on their own. It’s a refreshing change of pace.
