Trigger warning: psychological abuse, physical abuse, violence, death, PTSD

Rereading this, I realize all over again why the Hunger Games trilogy is the best YA dystopian series. EVERYTHING about it is realistic and just perfect. Katniss' PTSD, her hate of being left out, her lack of understanding at the way her world really works...

This series is both amazing and horrifying. Everything about it either makes you swoon (Gale or Peeta - depending on whom you favour in the love triangle -, Katniss' love for her family, the way everyone is trying to protect her, FINNICK ODAIR!!!!!!!) or terrifies/horrifies you (President Snow, the victors going back into the arena, the ending of Catching Fire...)

I have too much feels to express right now and I can only say that I despise the amount of reading I have to do for school (even though it includes rereading my favourite series ever) because it means I can't read Mockingjay yet!
