OK OK, in all fairness I probably didn't give this much of a chance. But I just lost interest about 30% through, started skimming, then started wondering what other people thought and saw other people having the same problems. It's not a bad book, I've just read similar books that captured my attention better. I found I didn't really want to know what was going on, and so I figured one less series for me to have to complete? Not a big deal when you have hundreds of other books on your queue....
