Updated review: still love very much and bumped my rating up half a star! I still think the pacing gets a bit off at the end with wrapping up the magic demon…but I love this book. It’s so sweet and wholesome and the representation is great. The family vibes are amazing and I wish I had Nanas in my life. I love Nova a lot a lot and her and Tam are cute. Really just a great read!

So cute! Heartwarming story with loveable characters and a fun mystery. The illustrations were great and really made you feel like you’re in fall time New England. Amazing lgbtqia+ representation. The story moved a bit too quickly and wrapped up a bit too neatly but all around a great magical graphic novel.
